The 2nd half of the 80's kicks off this week, and it's only been a few weeks since the last countdown of 1984.  In fact, the #1 songs hasn't even changed.  And while that isn't a favorite, the other 9 are all three star or higher, and three are 5-star.

New since last time is the debut of David Lee Roth and John Fogerty solo, some low charting songs by Culture Club and Elton John, the biggest pop hit for Midnight Starr (reflecting a bit more R&B on teh chart), and first releases from Kool and the Gang and REO  Speedwagon, both of which will bring a rebound from their recent fortunes.

Favorite -- very hard to pick... so we're still at run to you and the boys of summer.
