On the road this week, so I had to fight with my rental company to activate SiriusXM for the road, but I did catch all but a couple songs.
Last year I blogged about the week before when James Taylor moved into the #1 spot, with a song written by Carole King and a song charting that very week by a different artists. Casey neglect to mention it again this week.

His big news was the jump to #1 by the Bee Gees (I gather because it made two modest moves the weeks previous) -- and what he really didn't know was that this first week at #1 for the group would be followed by 8 other #1s in the 70's.
First hit: John Denver was still credited "with Fat City," Olivia Newton-John
Last hits: none that I can see
Favorites: Don't Pull your love (5-star), though John Denver, Chase, Carole King and THE Who (Casey left off the "The" :-) are all 4-stars
